Tlantic, a family-friendly company

At age 30, I was an ambitious, hard-working young woman with high hopes for my career, but I also wanted to build a family and be a mother. Around that time, I applied for the position of Project Manager at Tlantic and, the week I received an offer to join the team, I found out that I was pregnant with my first child.


In all openness and transparency, I shared my state of grace with the company and, to my surprise, not only did they decide to keep the offer, but also stressed that they would love to have me join the team. For me, this was the first sign that Tlantic devoted special attention to its people management and that it was committed to building long-term relationships with its employees. Everyone welcomed me with great warmth, and I never felt any resistance from people regarding my condition. After accepting the offer, I worked for around six months until I went on maternity leave.


Four years (and many projects) later, I became pregnant with my second child and, faced with a high-risk pregnancy, I was away for nearly a year. Upon returning from my second leave, as a way of recognizing my contributions to the company, I was presented with the opportunity to lead one of the development teams at Tlantic. This promotion, which came at the most unexpected time, was a very important milestone in my career progression.


Despite all the challenges, over the last 10 years, Tlantic has provided me with a balanced environment that is essential for my well-being. I feel that I have been able to be there for my family and devote time to other personal projects, all while building a solid and challenging career, like I've always wanted.


Nowadays, I am part of Tlantic's Board of Directors, and I can say that I have found a company that is aligned with my vision of team management. Here, we can develop the best management practices and, at the same time, preserve and cherish a company's greatest asset – its people!
